Shots Community Guidelines

Welcome to Shots. We built this app so people can meet, connect, and shoot their shot with respect. These guidelines keep the community safe. By using Shots, you agree to follow them. Violating them can get your content removed or your account banned — no warning, no refund.

Who can use Shots

You can create an account and use Shots only if you:

  • Are 18 years or older

  • Are legally able to enter into this agreement

  • Have not been previously banned from Shots

  • Are not a registered sex offender

  • Have not been convicted of violent crimes or sexual misconduct

  • Are not on any government list restricting your use of our services

  • Are using only one account (multiple accounts are not allowed)

If any of these stop being true, your access is revoked and you must delete your account.

How to treat others

While using Shots, do not:

  • Harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or impersonate other users

  • Send unwanted sexual content, solicitations, or repeated unwanted messages

  • Catfish — including fake photos, fake identities, or using someone else's photos

  • Ask for or share personal contact info to move the conversation off Shots for predatory reasons

  • Solicit money, gifts, or favors from other users (including "sugar daddy" / "sugar baby" arrangements)

  • Use Shots for dating scams, pyramid schemes, or any fraudulent behavior

  • Spam other users with promotional content

  • Try to contact users outside of Shots after they've blocked you

  • Share another user's private messages, photos, or personal info without their permission

What you can't share

You cannot post, upload, or send content (photos, videos, bios, messages, shots) that:

  • Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or contains nudity (including partial nudity)

  • Depicts, suggests, or endangers minors in any way — this is a zero-tolerance policy

  • Promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous challenges

  • Is hateful, racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise discriminatory

  • Contains threats, harassment, or bullying toward any person

  • Is illegal or promotes illegal activity, including drug use, human trafficking, or exploitation

  • Is commercial — advertising, spam, crypto promotion, OnlyFans / sex work / cam work promotion

  • Contains someone else's likeness without their permission (including minors — parent/guardian permission required)

  • Infringes on someone's copyright, trademark, or other rights

  • Contains malicious code, viruses, or phishing attempts

Content that violates these rules will be removed. Users who violate these rules repeatedly or seriously will be permanently banned.

Reporting and enforcement

If you see something that violates these guidelines, report it:

  • On any profile: tap Report

  • On any shot (video): tap the Report icon in the top bar

  • You can also block any user from their profile

We review reports and take action. Consequences range from a warning to permanent removal, depending on severity. For the most serious violations — child exploitation, threats of violence, terrorism — we remove accounts immediately and report to authorities where required.

Submitting false or bad-faith reports is also a violation and may result in action against the reporter.

Safety

Shots does not conduct criminal background checks or verify user identities. Use your judgment when meeting people from the app:

  • Meet in public for first dates

  • Tell a friend where you're going

  • Don't share banking info, passwords, or send money

  • Trust your gut — if something feels off, block and report

Changes

We may update these guidelines as the app evolves. Continued use of Shots after an update means you accept the changes.
